In case anyone was worrying about the little scrap in the barn. This is where she is now, in the spare room beyond the big door to the rest of the house. She can get up into the attic and we can keep the dogs out of this part of the house. They’ll have to meet sooner or later, but I’d rather it was later.

She is beautiful!

She’s a little savage! She ran into the other cat in the attic and there was a bit of a fight, but it’s water off a duck’s back to Rosetta. The dogs are a different matter though…

Ah, kittens. We recently adopted a one year old stray. He is spunky. Always racing around, trying to play with the other cats. They are 6 and 13 years old, respectively. Not too keen on his antics.😂 The little guy does not like the dog, however.

We didn’t have much choice with this one really. Her mother, a feral cat that visits sometimes, left her here when she was weaned. Told her is was a good place, so stay put. Kittens are impossible to resist!

She’s a warrior. She drew the line at having a hedgehog as a room mate though. They like cat food and one of them moved into the cat shelter outside.

Perfect. A cat with chalk, and she knows how to use it.

I used to love hedgehogs, but we’ve had rather a lot of aggro from this lot lately.

She is a sweet little thing. Spotty and maybe going to be fluffy like her mother.

We couldn’t leave her outside because the hedgehogs moved into her shed. Once the hay was cut her jungle disappeared and she started climbing iunderneath the car which is no place for a kitten to live. The barn was better, but she was frightened in there alone and lived up at roof height. We’ll see how it works out.

They’re all going to have to meet up before she gets out. She’s very curious to know what’s beyond the big door…

What a face! Yes she needs to grow a bit to hold her own, but I bet she’ll stand her ground. (K)

She’s quick and small enough to have lots of bolt holes, but Bix is also a devil for quick-moving things. The champion lizard hunter.

Just introduced Redmond to the new lodger. Rosetta hissed, growled, swiped at him then forgot all about it. Redmond seemed terrified.

They’re a bit frightened of her to be honest. Rosetta is sublimely self-confident.

They have to be tenacious in that environment.
