The little savage born in a field who inveigled her way into our house is turning it upside down. Fearless as only cats can be, assured of her superiority, dominating human and canine, she leaves a trail of destruction in her wake. Bix has accepted defeat, but Redmond still rises to the bait, playing snip-snap the hand and punch-in-the-face. Our hands, arms and ankles are longing for teething to be over and for her urge to subdue all that moves to pass.

She loves ‘playing’ with Redmond, but they’re both asleep now. Bix stays away from her, and doesn’t react when she bites his ankles or the end of his tail. We’re all settling down. Slowly.

These are the first photos I’ve managed to take of her that aren’t action photos. We were beginning to wonder if she ever slept.
She’s already caught a mouse in the kitchen. And a couple outside.

Our kittens are on the go most of the time, too. They usually take a little nap in the afternoon.
I was wondering about the mouse. I guess she was giving the dogs a chance. 😉

Kittens all act like they’re on overdrive. I can’t imagine two at once!
She must have been curious about what Bix was watching. When he wandered outside she took up position and caught it. She joins him now.

It’s good to have two kittens at once because they play with each other! They tumble and wrestle and chase each other.
She’s smart–she’s figure out to follow him, then she gets the prize.
