Yesterday a friend suggested I join Substack. Well, I’ve been fiddling around with it, have no idea what I’m doing, but have just published my first post
If anyone reading this is on Substack, how about friending me or whatever they call it.

Great to find you on Substack, Jane. I’ve noticed a poet (Starlington, I think) who posts from there for dVerse. I followed and recommend! I wish you great success! xxx

Thanks Colleen! I have no idea how to find either people or writers on there. It keeps proposing the same stuff every time I look at it. None of it of any interest. I’ll find you and see if it starts off a chain reaction (I’m following Ain already, I think!)

I’m not sure either, but recommendations seems to be the way to connect.

It will work great for me for as a newsletter. But it is an option.

It’s the only way I know to do it for free. Otherwise, you have a use a special service and connect your blog. No gmail addresses anymore.

Mine’s a gmail address. Wonder how that will work…

I saw you followed me. A few other people have, too. I follow a few people–professionals and people like Ain. I haven’t posted anything there though, and not sure I will. I have too many things read and keep track of as it is. I will follow you back though. š

Thank you š I thought it might be a good place to post short fiction. It might be a platform that works for me. Blogging doesn’t and nor does twitter, so may as well give it a try.

I have no idea how to find people on there. It seems overloaded in US politics and lifestyle stuff, or at least that’s what is up front.

I haven’t looked for anyone there. I’ve only followed those I’ve come across from other sources.
